The World Day of Prayer on Friday 1 March is an international, ecumenical, prayer movement initiated and carried forward by Christian women in more than 180 countries and over 1000 languages. The needs of the world, and of the writing country in particular, are brought before Almighty God knowing that He will hear and answer us, as we pray in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. Do come to one of our special services at 11.00am, St Patrick’s RC church, Lochgelly and at 2.00pm, St Luke’s, Glenrothes. This year the service entitled “I Beg You… Bear With One Another in Love” has been devised by the WDP Committee of Palestine and is based on Ephesians 4:1-3.
