As explained in this post, all services are currently suspended.
However, we encourage you, if you have internet access, to use the on-line material that is being made available. Look at our most recent posts for the links, and join Christians throughout Scotland in prayer each week.
A warm welcome awaits you at our Sung Eucharist, which is held every Sunday at 11.00am. Do join us for refreshments after the service.
During this period of pastoral vacancy, we are extremely grateful to Rev Gareth Benson and Rev Gerry Dillon, both of St Luke’s, for offering their time and ministry, giving us the reassurance of regular Eucharistic worship at St Finnian’s. Edith Mathewson and Ross Stirling-Young cover the alternate Sundays, leading worship with Communion from the Reserved Sacrament.
If you are free during the day on Tuesdays, do come along at 11.00am for a said service of Holy Communion.
During the winter months we also meet every second Sunday of the month for worship following the Taizé tradition, with refreshments before the service from 3:45pm, and the service at 4.30pm.
From September till Easter, we meet weekly after the Tuesday morning Eucharist. Over the past winter we studied the Pilgrim Course on the Eucharist. Watch this space for Autumn 2019!
House Study Group
From September till Easter, we meet monthly in a home for an evening time of study. Over the past winter we worked through the Pilgrim Course on The Lord’s Prayer – contact us for the 2019–20 session start date!
