The Benarty and Lochgelly Churches Together, of which St Finnian’s is a member, chose the Lochgelly Centre Art Room on a Friday evening as a neutral venue to attract non-churchgoers to come and see what worshipping God is all about. The theme was “We are all God’s children” and the service included modern Christian songs, prayers and a discussion of the theme, based on a picture of a staircase leading to Christ. Other, different ideas will be used on future occasions as we try to reach out to those who may be looking for an opportunity to ask questions about God and his Son, Jesus Christ – so watch this space!
